New VWL Short Film
We are thrilled to share a new short film about VWL partner research! “In Plain Sight” takes us into Virginia’s overlooked and shrinking grasslands, where incredible plants survive in tiny pockets. These small wonders remind us that even small habitats matter and that paying attention can reveal something worth protecting. Watch as we get up close, marvel at the details and learn why these hidden places need our care.
The research featured in this film is in partnership with the Smithsonian’s Virginia Working Landscapes, The Clifton Institute, the Restoration Ecology Lab at Virginia Tech and the Piedmont Discovery Center.
