A Morning with VWL Biologists

Join VWL at a private farm in Warren County for a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in field research through the lens of a biologist!
Participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into ongoing projects that form the scientific foundation of the Virginia Grassland Bird Initiative. In addition, they will learn about state-of-the-art tracking technologies and surveying techniques while observing iconic grassland species like Bobolinks, Savannah Sparrows, and American Kestrels in their natural habitats.
