Virginia Working Landscapes is hosting a lecture featuring Shayan Ghajar, PhD Candidate at Virginia Tech, who will present his current research exploring native warm season grasses for equine forage and conservation benefits.

The evening will also feature special guest, Mike Maslanka, Dept. of Nutrition Science at Smithsonian National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, who will present on “Use of Native Warm Season Grasses with Exotic Hoofstock – Our History and our Hopes.”
