The Soil Health and Sustainable Agriculture workshop hosted by Virginia Working Landscapes will take place at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, VA from 8:30 am to 3:30pm.

Morning classroom session includes keynote presentations and panel discussion focused on the principles of soil health in the context of regenerative grazing practices, organic vegetable production and gardening, local sustainable farming, permaculture, conscious food consumerism, and soil management. There will be an afternoon field trip to Waterpenny Farm in Sperryville to demonstrate the benefits of healthy soil management.
