August 18, 2019, August 18, 2019 11:00 am - 03:00 pm
Location: Sky Meadows State Park, Edmonds Lane 11012, Delaplane, Virginia

What are pollinators, and why are they important? What are the primary threats to pollinators, and what can you do in your backyard to help save them? All of these questions and more will be answered at the Sky Meadows Pollinator Workshop, a collaborative project of Sky Meadows State Park and the Shenandoah Chapter Virginia Master Naturalists. Hear informative presentations on pollinator conservation and take a hike to explore pollinator plots in the park. All participants will get to construct and take away a Bee Hotel and will also receive a tray of native wildflowers to increase pollinator habitat at home. Cost is $80. Click here to register.
