Native Meadows of Fauquier County: Field Day with VWL and The Clifton Inst.

July 26, 2019, July 26, 2019 09:30 am - 03:00 pm

Virginia Working Landscapes and The Clifton Institute, with special guests from the Virginia Native Plant Society and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, are hosting a field day to visit native meadow sites on several farms in Fauquier county. Participants will not only get to learn about the biodiversity in the fields, but they will also get to learn from the landowners about installation, planting, & management techniques.

There will be time for a picnic lunch at one of the farms, so please bring a bagged lunch. Food is not provided.

Carpooling is encouraged. The event will start at North Wales and then participants will be provided with a map of the tour route to drive to the additional sites.

Event is FREE and open to the public but registration is required.
